your 15th quote that is on your list: PAIN IS JUST WEAKNESS LEAVING THE BODY! THIS QUOTE IS A U.S.MARINE CORPS QUOTE! So please do your research before you put any MARINE CORPS saying or meaning on your page.I feel that you just disrespected myself, mybrothers & sisters in arms& my beloved MARINE CORPS when you put our quote 1 that we all live by on here & you put written by:UNKNOWN.that is like you are saying you dont know who we are or u just dont care.it amazes me you know a navy quote & that they wrote it but not us?! we are the very 1st branch to go to war & are the last branch of the military to leave a war!so with respect to us Marines everywhere fix this on your page & THANK YOU!
ReplyFully agree ! Get Fit, Stay Fit, Be Happy And Let The Harmony Be With You )))
Great quotes anyway )
It’s a shame that you think it’s a USMC thing. The army came up with that years before some dumb marine copied it out in crayon. Go eat some glue and come back when you can outperform a soldier.
ReplyImagine posting a comment that says “it amazes me you know a navy quote” and then ranting about it when the marines are a department of the navy

I like quotes from Navy SEALs and the like. They are direct, leaving no room for excuses. I also like the phrase written on the poster of ‘Million Dollar Baby’ movie gym that says: Winners are simply willing to do what losers do not.

Some great quotes in there Chris! Especially love the Arnold and Bruce Lee quotes… oh yeah and Ronnie Coleman’s quotes are always funny. Here’s one I’ll add to the list:

OUR ONLY LIMITS ARW THE LIMITATIONS OF OUR OWN MIND.
IT WAS NOT UNTILL THE LAST GRAIN OF SAND FELL THAT I UNDERSTOOD THAT I WAS ONE MINUET LESS THAN WHAT I SHOULD OF BEEN.
Reply“Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired. When you were younger the mind could make you dance all night, and the body was never tired…You’ve always got to make the mind take over and keep going.”

A great one, similar to Arnold’s quote where he says “The body always fails first, not the mind. The trick is to make the mind work for you, not against you.”
